The house sits up high on a hill so the impeccable views from every window leave you feeling as though you could reach out and touch the mountains. Whether you're star gazing from the master bed (literally), or enjoying some quiet time in the beautifully adorned reading nook overlooking the main living space; this home has a modern rustic ski cabin vibe that screams High Country. Albeit secluded, the Starlit location is merely 4 miles south of Breckenridge so you'll find all of the amenities you need in close proximity, without sacrificing the serenity you're craving in the mountains. Hiking and Biking trails are right out your door.

The bed configuration is as follows:
Master Bedroom (Upper Level): King Bed and Twin Day Bed with bathroom en suite
Bedroom 2 (Main/Living Level): Twin Bed and Twin Bunks with adjacent bath
Bedroom 3 (Garden-Level Basement): Queen Bed with adjacent bath
Sofa bed (Garden-Level Basement): Queen 

An SUV with 4-wheel-drive is recommended during winter months.  The road and the driveway to the house are dirt, but the snow is plowed.  Even still, if you're driving to the house before the plow has gotten there, you might be glad to have the extra clearance that an SUV provides.  The driveway is fairly steep, so if you do not have 4-wheel-drive, you may not be able to drive to the top.  But don't worry; there's a small parking area at the bottom of the driveway, and accompanying stairs up to the house. This is part of the charm of Blue River in the winter; there's lots of snow!

Property
It was our first visit to the Breckenridge area and this place was in a perfect location for the hiking we wanted to do during the day and yet was close enough to town to check out all the restaurants and night time activities. The house was spacious with room for privacy for each couple with a big living room and dining room where we could also spend time together. I know where we are staying in Breckenridge from now on.

This property is in great shape and it a privileged position/situation. We enjoyed the fact it was close to Breckenridge but still far away enough that it was quiet. Besides the roomy interior, being summer time, we enjoyed the deck and the grill outside. This can be a favorite place to return.

Great place for 2 families or a bigger group. We have 4 kids and only used the top 2 floors and it was perfect. The basement level is very private and can be closed off. The views are beautiful! The driveway is perfect for sledding. The kids loved it here!! This house was exactly what we wanted, close to everything, but more private area.
